Virginia's Live Casino & Hotel reveals new appointments of three individuals
Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia, currently under construction and awaiting regulatory approval, has announced several new hires for its senior leadership team. The appointments reflect extensive experience in their respective fields and significant Virginia ties, demonstrating Live! Casino's commitment to strong local leadership.
In the role of Vice President of Marketing, Cheryl Brown brings over 25 years of marketing leadership experience to the table. She has worked in Atlantic City, the Bahamas, and Maryland, including leading loyalty marketing for Cordish Gaming. At Live!, Brown began her career in 2019 as Director of Loyalty Marketing at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland. In her new role at Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia, she will oversee all facets of marketing, including advertising, events, promotions, entertainment, and database strategy.
Kirk Marlowe, with a 37-year career with the Virginia State Police, has been appointed as the Head of Security. His expertise includes criminal investigation, homeland security, and law enforcement. Marlowe served as the Virginia State Police's first Chief Transformation Officer and held positions such as deputy superintendent, director (lieutenant colonel), deputy director (major), and commander (captain) for the Virginia State Police.
Patricia Tuck, the new Vice President of Human Resources, has a wealth of experience in the gaming industry. She previously held senior HR roles at WarHorse Gaming, Seneca Gaming, Harrah’s, and SugarHouse Casino, with experience in rapid property launches.
The hires also include Yanina De Vargas as the Chief Financial Officer and Penny Parayo as the Senior Vice President and General Manager. De Vargas and Parayo join the team with impressive backgrounds in finance and casino management, respectively.
