Emerging Filipino Music Talents: The Top 6 Young Males Shining in 2025

In the vibrant world of Filipino music, 2025 has been a year of exciting developments and comebacks.

Maki, the 25-year-old singer and songwriter, gained attention with his debut EP "Tanong" in 2023. However, it's his upcoming debut album "Kolocoaster," set to be released in September, that has music enthusiasts buzzing. His 2025 single "Kahel Na Langit" became one of the top songs in the Philippines on Spotify and MYX.

Maki is not the only artist making waves. Earl Agustin, who rose to fame with the 2023 song "Tibok," continues to dominate the charts with tracks like "Dalangin" and "Dito Sa'kin." The popularity of "Tibok" has been further boosted by its involvement in the show "Ang Mutya ng Section E."

Another artist making a comeback is Unique Salonga, who returned as the vocalist for the band IV of Spades in July. The band, after a five-year hiatus, released two singles, "Aura" and "Nanaman," within their first month back. "Aura" topped the charts, and the band's album "Silakbo," featuring the hit single "Pahina," has been well-received.

IV of Spades is not the only band finding success. Cup of Joe gained immense fame with their 2024 single "Multo." The track, which helped secure the success of their 2025 album "Silakbo," was the first Filipino song to hit the Billboard Global 200.

Meanwhile, Lola Amour's 2023 hit "Raining in Manila" continues to find new audiences globally. The band also released their sophomore album "Love On Loop" in 2025, featuring tracks like "The Moment."

Zack Tabudlo, a name synonymous with record-breaking achievements, is touring internationally and releasing new songs like "Diving" and "Manloloko" in 2025. His songs "Nangangamba," "Binibini," and "Pano" have set new standards for attendance and streaming numbers.

In this dynamic landscape of the Philippine music industry, one thing is certain - the music continues to evolve and captivate audiences, offering a rich tapestry of sounds and stories.
